Microneedling Treatment

What is microneedling? How does microneedling work?

Microneedling is an advanced cosmetic procedure that utilizes an automated device with a replaceable, disposable handpiece equipped with tiny sterile needles to create small lesions on the surface of the skin. Microneedling is considered a gentle procedure because only the top layer of skin is touched during the procedure. Thin needles pierce the epidermis to a depth of up to 2 mm. When the “blood dew” appears, it means that the protective layer of the skin is destroyed, the face is ready to absorb special preparations. This minimally invasive technique stimulates the body’s natural healing process, increasing collagen production and rejuvenating the skin. And with the help of punctures, cosmetic products penetrate and nourish the skin from the inside with beneficial compositions. Preparations are selected by masters according to individual needs and specific problems of the patient. The composition of mesococktails includes vitamins, amino acids, lactic acid, enzymes, extracts – elements that help to defeat aesthetic defects. The punctures themselves induce fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin in increased volumes, resulting in lifting and wrinkle smoothing.

What is the effect of the procedure

Facial microneedling improves skin condition, stimulates cell regeneration and gets rid of congestion without “beauty shots” and surgery.

How to conduct the procedure

A course of microneedling procedures is aimed at eliminating:

  • Dry and flabby skin. Mesoroller saturates the dermis with moisture without injecting drugs into the deep layers. Superficial impact is enough to make the skin moisturized and tightened.
  • Unhealthy complexion and age spots. Both problems are associated with changes in the epidermis. Dead cells accumulate in the upper layer, the dermis becomes difficult to breathe, which leads to dullness and pigmentation.
  • Microneedling to reduce large pores. Reduces pore size by stimulating collagen and elastin production, pores become smaller.
  • Age-related changes. Fine wrinkles are the first sign of aging, which appears on the outer skin layer. To defeat the defect, it is not necessary to touch the subcutaneous layers at a depth of more than 2 mm. So also use microneedling to fight wrinkles on the forehead.
  • Microneedling for the treatment of scars, scars and post-acne. Acne marks and scars are shallow defects, getting rid of which occurs on the surface of the skin.
Alopecia. Microneedling is practiced in the fight against baldness, as the procedure stimulates blood flow.

Post microneedling care

Immediately after the microneedling procedure, redness may appear on the skin, which usually subsides within 3 hours. It takes up to two days for the skin to recover and the redness to disappear completely. However, for another week it is important to follow the recommendations for skin care after microneedling:

If the microneedling does not heal and the redness does not go away, see an esthetician.
