What is DNA recovery peel?

This peel system employs the use of active liposomes to specifically and effectively repair cellular DNA damage caused by sun exposure and oxygen free radical damage.

The peel can be performed at any time, but it has become most popular as a preparatory measure before or after UV exposure, protecting the skin from the negative effects of UV rays. This procedure effectively levels skin tones and decreases pigmentation, also having good antioxidant qualities. In addition, peeling prepares the epidermis for more complex and intensive treatments, such as laser resurfacing, mid-peels, and injectable procedures. It accelerates the process of repairing cells damaged by ultraviolet light, improving skin texture and making it smooth and radiant. It also strengthens the skin’s defense mechanisms against ultraviolet radiation, significantly improves the condition of keratosis, smooths the skin tone, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Moreover, this peel enhances the effectiveness of other sunscreens.

Unlike conventional peels, which involve improving the skin by exfoliating and causing intentional damage, the DNA Peel does not cause discomfort such as burning or irritation. The DNA Recovery Peel formula contains ferulic acid, which reduces damage at the DNA level by 40%, protects cells from free radicals, and boosts the action of vitamins.
